Fire Protection Association

Earlier this year EpicTech Media joined forces with the Fire Protection Association (FPA) at their Test Centre in Blockley Gloucestershire to create a video production, aimed at showcasing their advanced fire testing facilities.

The FPA is the UK’s national fire safety organisation, and work to identify and draw attention to the dangers of fire and how their potential for loss is kept to a minimum. Since their formation in 1946, the FPA has attained an unrivalled reputation for quality of work and expertise in all aspects of fire including research, consultancy, training, membership, publications, risk surveying and auditing.

EpicTech Media was commissioned by the FPA in January 2016 to produce a video showing some demonstrations at an open day at their fire test laboratory, and produce two promotional films using this footage, as well as a large pool of archive footage.

To produce the video, a team of two videographers travelled to Blockley to capture the event with multiple cameras.

The videos produced were then delivered within a week of shooting so they could be used for an exhibition event.

The video has been used on YouTube, our website and at exhibitions to demonstrate our advanced capabilities to potential clients. The quality of footage undertaken was excellent, and the videos have proved very useful to showcase some of our work through such a visually engaging medium such as video
