Why Should I Get a Facebook Header Video?

Back in April 2017, Facebook introduced a new feature, cover videos. Essentially, when people log on to your page, instead of the traditional photo they see a video in its place. According to a recent survey, 60% of consumers watch branded videos on Facebook daily and 64% say that watching a marketing video on Facebook has influenced a purchasing decision. People are watching video content and engaging with it, and it’s resulting in them acting. So why not capitalise on this by using a cover video.

Get in front of more people!

When people come to your Facebook video, they will always see your header video, because it’s right at the top and it automatically plays. If you’re doing sponsored posts on Facebook (or any posts for that matter), one of your goals is probably to get people to visit your page and find out more.

All in all, you can potentially double your video views. Every time someone sees a piece of your content and decides to find out more by clicking on your page, you get another view. Every engagement you create with your posts will be worth more to your page statistics.

Finally, it’s multipurpose!
